Daniel Kahneman :The Princeton University faculty member, who had joined in 1993, announced in a release that the Israeli-American psychologist passed away quietly on Wednesday. It was not stated why he died. The idea that people make rational decisions and that people’s behavior is primarily instinctual was disproved by Daniel Kahneman, who also authored the best-selling book Thinking, Fast and Slow.

Then, when he was 27, he went back to Hebrew University to teach psychology and statistics, where he started his well-known collaboration with psychology professor Amos Tversky.
For his models demonstrating the expected flaws in intuitive thinking, Kahneman was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2002, six years after Tversky’s passing.
